I followed usmcdoc14 advice and got myself a Hensoldt RPG sight with sweet tank killer reticle. and chopped up the mount to fit in a cheap ass 30mm QD Ring from Hong Kong. The sight itself was nice, but the mounting left a little to be desired. It used part of the RPG mounting bracket to make my spacer for my 30mm ring (hack). Also with a Buis in place, I had to change my natural head position to get a full sight picture, which again I didnt like. Also the mount has some vertical slope in it. Although this doesnt change the point of aim when it moves, it is rather annoying. I decided to fix the eye relief problem first and this is what I came up with.

Its made out of 4130 DOM tubing. It was on hand and sturdy
I know it simple, but it helps alot. It was made long to accomadate a variety of shooters. Once its set for good, I plan on trimming off all that is forward of the ring. Also, This is getting sandblasted and painted tomorrow.

Next project is to build a better mount and come in way cheaper than larue, because I hope to market and a bunch of other shit that we have brewing at the shop.

with that mount, no. with the mount in the works yes. Im not saying this is the be all, end all magnifier, but for its price point, it works pretty damn well

I'm looking forward to what you come up with. Those magnifiers are a great deal, if only the ML mount wasn't so expensive.

It could easily be from the stack of lenses you are looking through when taking the pic. :D

I ended up using a cheap Chinese twist off mount.

I dont even notice the reticle when using the sight, if I focus on the eotech ret and target the tank killer goes away
