i have 2 d/44s from a cherokee w/ quadratrac
can i leave the front hubs the way they are so that i can just shift into 4x4 and go or do i need to install locking hubs?
if so, what are the best type?
i will probably go with warn

also i need to outboard the springs
does anyone have any pics of their outboard mounts?

can i use the shock towers from the cherokee?

can any machine shop drill and tap my flat top knuckles for hysteer?

any help is greatly appreciated

Yes you can use the axles as is without changing the slugs for hubs. Your front driveshaft will turn all the time though but shouldn't be a big deal.

What is this going in? You do know the rear axle is offset to the passenger's side. It will work great with a quadratrac or D18. not so good with other t cases.

Don't see why you can't use the cherokee shock towers, as long as they fit.

You'd have to ask your machine shop if they can drill the knuckles, but it shouldn't be too difficult for them.

Can't help you on the outboard spring mounts. I'd narrow the axle if it were me. If you want to keep the width, I'd start with a wider axle and narrow that. Just my $.02
