Anybody know where to find a Milling head or milling head parts for a Bridgeport copy (Amstar brand to be precise)? I finally found a Knee mill close to home and it was in decent shape with a one shot oiler and the amount of saddle travel needed. I almost got it for scrap steel prices with one hitch. Tweakers broke into the shop where I bought it from and ripped off the belt assembly for the copper in the motor and took the whole upper assembly. No luck with the local scrap dealers trying to find the original. The original milling head was a 3hp J head style copy. I almost had a Chevalier 3hp mill head on ebay but was sniped. So any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Don't worry only drove 5 miles and the mill in the back of the truck.

PS Does anybody know anything of the Amstar brand of tools? Apparently made in Huntington Beach, CA as a part Astral Precision?

I tried the number in the pic but apparently no longer there as I don't think they have a rap message for their answering service.
