Are Warn Premium hubs supposed to be greased on the outside lock in area. Please help asap. The Hub can be unlocked without the dial on but when the dial is put on and locked it will not unlock. It is a 73 Bronco with a wildhorses disc conversion. We were replacing the u-joints and relized there was no grease so we put some in. Was this a mistake???

Let's see . . . With no grease, they worked. You greased them up and they quit working . . . Yep, sounds like grease is a mistake.
Actually, Warn recommends just a light coating of lube. Do not pack them as it leaves no room for the internals to slide in/out.

Take the cap off and rotate it one bolt hole clockwise or counter-clockwise. See if it will lock/unlock in that arrangement by holding the cap on tight. If it won't function rotate it one more hole and check again. Repeat until you get the cap orientation that has proper function.
If things are lined up right then they will lock and refuse to un-lock
