Any one running Sky's traction bar for the Sammy? Got the YJ springs and damaged my drive shaft this weekend.I know it won't bolt right up to my Ford 9" but I can make a new braket.A Good design and product? Their making a new batch so I can get one next week.

Looked under the rig last night and there is no way I can run a central mounted traction bar unless it is on top of the hump.Any one with an off set Ford 9" or Dana rear axle with leaf springs have any pictures I could see, thanks.

Talked to TT yesterday and he said not to use one.Instead I will grind out the yokes a little for even more clearance.I thought I had enough yoke clearance because when the suspension is fully dropped nothing contacts.

You running stock unmodified springs? How about longer spring pads? If not, you need a wrap bar.
Cutting a spare main leaf and making a 6 pack from a 5, and using longer spring pads help a lot.

I say make a traditional style anti-wrap bar with a shackle on the top end, or use a twist design otherwise I bet you'll be ruining your springs before long.

They are stock YJ leafs from Rubicon express and the sring pads are stock YJ style also. I might try the added leaf idea next.

I've done the add a leaf thing, AND longer pads. I am still getting some axle wrap. I'd really like to link it!

I'm running the sky bolt on traction bar. I LOVE it!

I've got a 16v, spring over, locked, 88.5 springs (the softer ones..), and I have NO spring wrap! If I go up a hill backwards in 2wd, the rear tires will break loose, but NO wrap!

My slip joint tube was built incorrectly, but I rewelded it, no other problems.

It's ultra simple and works GREAT!

I have the one rro and it works great. Only problem is they dont have a joint for flex. You need to put your own on.
