The SM420/465 were only used in chevy's. A 300 won't bolt up to either the motor mounts or bellhousing. You'll need a married 203 from any Ford to get the right spline input...unless you want to swap it. FearMe 07-26-2002, 07:20 AM I have a 78 F150. It has a 435/205 AND the 300 ci six. All you should need to convert it over is a new bellhousing, flywheel clutch assy and the motor. | |
