I am getting DOM tubing 2" .120 wall...in 20 feet sections well only one 20 ft section and it's $106.43...i need about 10 more feet of it and it's like 5 bucks per foot, is this a lot of money for DOM tubing and should i look at other steel supplies around me for DOM, or is this about the going rate??

I think it's about $3/ft around here..I don't use 2" to often though.

what do you use??

is HREW just as strong...obviously it's cheaper, i like cheaper!!! Why not 2" HREW??

Normally HREW is a different allow steel. So no, they're not "just as strong" It is however, IMHO, suffecient or I wouldnt be using it in my cage

well that is all i need to know...by the way when welding does it make a difference when welding DOM and HREW together...or should you not do that.

its all mild steel. Still welds together nice.

Get what ever matches you Die for your bender 1st...My Scout is lighter than your Scout II. Because of the larger vehicle, you should probably stick with 2" if it will fit.;)
