I know this has become the gun forum but :flipoff2:

Anybody know a good place to order one for a Bayliner Capri? I'm trying to stay under $700 since I scored the boat for 1200.

Thought about building one but I don't have access to a tig welder for the aluminum right now.

A guy I used to live next to made them in his driveway out of .095 HREW and mig'd them. Thinking back they craftsmanship was crap but he'd get $1200 and was about $100 in materials. So if you have a bender and a mig...GET IT:flipoff2:

I considered making one but it seems like it would be fawkin heavy when made from steel.

So use thinner wall or width tubing :flipoff2:

I have Pro Flight on my boat, and I really like it. I dont know if they make it for a Bayliner though. You are probably limited to a universal.

yeah you are probably limited to universal.

Ican guarantee you pro-flight does not have a jig for a capri, I used to work there.

Build your own. If you search, there are a few sites on the web about homebuilt towers...and if some of those no-fabbing dumbasses can do it, you sure as hell can.
