Since this forum seems slow lately. :D

I've got a bunch of body work to do on my 1/2T (1990).

The box is rusted out at the fender in the normal place - top of wheel opening.

I was thinking I'd cut out the rusted part and just bolt on some cut out flares. Who makes an aftermarket cut out flare that is cheap? Are the factory flares a cut out flare? Any better options?

The truck is just a 2wd 1/2T work horse, nothing fancy. Got some 31s I want to bolt on because I have them. Will 3/4T springs install for an inch or so of lift to clea rthe tires?

Look into "Bushwacker" fender flares they make 2 models. 1 Model has about a 1 1/2 inch lip & the other has about 3-4 in. lip. They advertise them as "cutouts" but you don't have to cut much........Good Luck
