Recently put a 4" lift on my CJ7. Now I have extreme driveline vibration (especially on decelleration) ~35-45 mph...
I have a standard driveshaft and used 2 degree shims...
Do I need larger shims, or do I need to lower the transfer case
Thanks in advance for your help

If you lower your transfer case everyone will laugh at you and you will be ostracized and forced to move to Siberia.:flipoff2:
(Ground clearance is more valuable than gold or diamonds:D )

I disagree...I'm all about ground clearance, but I think not breaking parts is more important... Hence the question... How do I get rid of the vibration ???
Thanks again !

Roll your diff up to match the driveline angle 2 degree's down and put a c/v in it- Jess:D

DING DING DING. We have a winner. CV rear driveshaft is the
answer. This guy Jess seems to have a clue. ;)

Well if you had the gold or diamonds then you could run a CV, but if you don't then just get a degree finder and make the output of the transfercase match the input of the diff. With only a 4" lift you shouldn't need to run a CV. You will still wear U-joints faster than stock, but you shouldn't get vibrations. Start shimming! :flipoff2:
