also make sure you're not 180 out.
there is one rule you need to know: if you have an LJ80, you have to post pics. :flipoff2:
drop those points and swap a samurai distr. in .
yeah , what about pics !!??
join the pygmy tribe over on lj10.com .

Thanks Guys for all the leads.................Joined the 'Pigmy Tribe' Lol.
So before i go pulling stuff apart lets see if anyone has come across this.
l have the plug leads on, #1 on the cap going to the cyl nearest the rad #2 next and so on ............lt will now run on # 3&4 but not on 1 or 2 both are getting spark, lf i hold the plug cap 1cm away from the sparkplug on #1 or 2 it will kinda fire. lts like the front 2 cyls are out of time with the rear 2 has anyone come across this.
how do i post pics?.............the Jeeps a trip someone put a little flat tipper deck on the back and a 'willys' homemade front end.

yep tried that l have a spare cap, same problem with a different cap...........could it be the coil is shagged?? The thing i still dont understand is why it 'wants' to fire properly when i hold the lead off the plug a 1/2 inch or so..............
