Baileigh Industrial is proud to introduce our latest rotary draw bender, the model RDB-125. This tubing bender has the ability to bend up to 2.5” .120 wall DOM tube, 2” schedule 40 pipe, 2” .120 wall Chromolly, and 2” .120 wall square; all with a maximum center line radius of 7 inches.

Foot pedal control allows hands free operation with no re-positioning of the ram or any pins. 180 degrees can be achieved without lifting a finger, just pushing the foot pedal. It's impressive Baldor Electric Motor with Industrial grade, low pressure hydraulics, offer high speed bending (45 degrees in around 10 seconds) An anti-springback mechanism keeps constant pressure on the material while the hydraulic ram resets itself.

"Drop-on die sets" allow quick tooling changes and produce some of the best bend quality on the market today. It will produce the same quality of bends as our larger rotary draw machines because it uses the same die sets. The RDB-125 comes standard with our quick release counter die system. This makes loading and unloading the material fast and easy with no pins to remove or reset.

Who has one of these and what are your opinions? Is it worth the extra $ compared to the hb302 or the jd2 model4? I know these are comparisons of apples to oranges, but I'm curious if this unit is the way to go.

The HB302 is only a 90 degree bender and has no outside support on the tube while bending. You would sacrifice bend quality as well as 180 degree capabilities. You would have a hard time making shock hoops, stingers or anything that requires more than a 90 degree bend.

We offer over 2,000 different die sets for our benders and have some of the best bend quality on the market.

We are redo this shop to be a show case High School Shop, there will be a grand reopening after the March Break, big press release thingy as well. Soo much to do, been renovating, fixing and buying equipment for 2 months now... :)

They tell me it ships tomorrow, one of the dies I wanted was back ordered? Anyways - We are all setup for it, so once it lands we will start on a cage project with the students.

Well the shipper couldn't make it today for some reason and will be here tomorrow now. Guess I shouldn't have said anything, sorry.

Though not all was lost, Miller sent one of their trainers over to teach us how to use the TIG welder, this guy had 40plus years experience welding - he could weld. Though I'm not ready to TIG weld my cage I do have an understanding of the machine and how it works, I just need lots of practice.

Anyways... till tomorrow.

After owning a JD2 Model 3 and Tube Tek air/hydro...the Baileigh RDB-125 absolutely rocks. I definately would not go back to the other models after owning this fabulous piece.

I did more than my share of research of the varying models in the sub $5k price point, and I feel this is far and away the best choice.

Shane's customer service has been great, and haven't had any issues with the bender.

The downside...is now I'm eyeballing the RDB-250...it never ends.=)
