OK, the fuel cell comes with a size 10 male fitting (other fittings are 8). The fuel line is 1/2 inch. I only need it to be 1/4 inch.

So, were can I find a reducer (a = 1, not 8 like I have found) to handle this problem??

Thanks,

Just use JIC fittings from your local Hydraulic shop and save a ton of $$

I got my reducer from Summit for like $9 and change. Took the 10an down to 3/8. They also have the reducer to take the 10an to 1/4 as well. Do a search on their website and you will see em.

-10 AN to 3/8 inch part # is AER-FCM2523 Not sure what the 1/4 inch adapter part is. :D

Thanks guys.

The guy at Summit (on the phone) had about $300 in fittings to do what one or two would do. He just didn't understand.

Along the same lines, my fuel cell is arriving today and I need to buy fittings at lunch (Jimmy, if you read this--got it figured out)

I have a Chevy 305 currently but will step up to a 350 or whatever...I use an Edelbrock 600 carb.

So, can I block off the #10 and use the #8? I figured that this should be big enough. Anyone have any ideas?

#6 and 3/8" lines will support up to 400hp worth of gas flow.

Here is my fuel fliter in 3/8"
