Im in the process of swapping 2.5 tons under my 1994 z-71 and I was considering linking the front instead of big stiff springs. I just wanted one opinion from you guys, would it be easier to run straight uppers and triangulated lowers because of the offset center section? Or should I just run straight lowers and triangulated uppers?

I dunno, Just seemed easier in my head to make one pair straight and one pair triangulated. I know if you triangulate both you have awesome articulation and less binding but im looking for simple. Its not going to be a crawler, I was just tossing around the ideas of linking the front.

There should be enough room for both sets of links to be triangulated. And you can bolt to the housing on the top links, plenty of beef there. :D

I modified a Ballistic link hat for a rock to make it work for a full width front. I'm gonna have a tube coming up from the axle tube to under the overhang and bolt to it.

I will also have the Ballistic made part that bolts to the side of the chunk. I just have to drill the holes out because they had 'em too small.
