I currently have a 69 FJ40 with a 4speed tranny and transfer case with a 350 chevy and stock axles with 4:10's. I am looking at possibly swapping out the third members for 3:73's. I know that my RPM's would drop but how would this affect my performance otherwise. Is there any Pro's or Con's to doing this. Any thoughts would be appreciated.:confused:

Why switch out? You will have lower RPM's on freeway speed, slower starts, and worse off road ratio.
