Ok, who has the goods on this setup? I'm following this thread:

... BUT, I'm interested in hearing specifically from Cruiser owners.
What master and slave did you use?
Does anyone know the bore on a stock FJ40 master? slave?
thanks, ~dso

Stock 74 stuff works fine on mine (after I put in the right kind of pressure plate - Doh! - someone should have told me that the mechanical linkage clutches use a different pressure plate than hydraulic clutches - thanks Georg!) The hydraulic clutch pressure plate does not need as much "throw" as the mechanical version.
There is some other voodoo I read on the LCML about using a late model M/C and early slave cylinder - or was it the other way around? You'd have to check the archives.

It's probably to the extent of having a master with a larger bore than the slave.
Something interesting that I found while looking. A Wilwood slave is only $59. Not as bad as I thought. Not even close the the GM
$149 one that I read about. The Wilwood is a "pull" type also.
Thanks all for the input. Any pictures of mouting brackets would be much appreciated.

As Krusty implied - the VooDoo required is the larger diameter Clutch MC (IIRC - Early) and the smaller Bore Clutch slave (Late)
The equation is more fluid out of the MC to more travel (smaller surface area) out of the slave.
The other part of the VooDoo is to use the cast clutch fork ()search here for part numbers etc). I run the stamped one because I don't want to drop the whole assembly unless I have a darn good reason. My setup works fine, but is a narrow range of adjustment.
