I had a military 2 1/2 ton trailer frame that I didn't need so I cut it in half and welded towbar ends on. Like I usually do I made the ends out of stuff I had laying around so cost was minimal. I will be towing this truck with it in a couple weeks. Think it will hold up? Now I just need a big solenoid for remote braking.

Every time the real ones come up on Govliquidation they go for more than I will pay. I can put it on by myself by hand. (I am not exactly a little dude)

How much are you willing to pay for a medium towbar? I know a lot of people who have them.

Thanks but I am set for towbars now. I probably won't use this mongo one more than a few times. It fits both my M211s exactly and I don't plan on acquiring more big trucks. Famous last words, right?:homer:

Definitely, especially where military vehicles are concerned. They tend to call to their own and OD iron is addictive, lol.
