: 1 inch body and poly spacers?
Tydes 07-25-2002, 11:53 PM sorry upfront for the ? I tried to search, but found little. I got a 1 inch body lift, and new body bushings shipped to me today and am itching to put them on Saturday. Brewfest is here in portland this weekend so I wanted to save some time to get my drink on. Do I still need to mess with the steering? NW binders has a link on their page of a checklist of what to do, but it is down. Does anybody know of a place to get good step by step instructions. Old scout... before you say it, i know this is pirate and not the BB. Thanks Tydes.
RustoleumWhite 07-26-2002, 07:28 AM no steering mods.
Bolt and GO, unless you have some PITA bolts, you should have plenty of time for
IMO, unless you have all the bolt specs handy, pull one side worth of bolts, then take a trip down to the hardware store and buy two of each 1" or 1.5" longer... (for the body lift). THEN come back home, have a  and swap them all out. You shouldn't need to disconnect anything (other than maybe the fan shroud... if equiped), just make sure things have room to move.
piece of cake!
The rag joint may wear out faster.... a u-joint will be nice. Pick up a new rag joint at the parts house (universal "FORD" rag joint) and swap it out when you get a chance....

The Fleckster 07-29-2002, 11:35 AM Didnt your 1" body lift come with new bolts??
It should be a bolt and go for the most part.
Tydes 07-29-2002, 11:58 AM actually, I called BCB to order it but your answering machine said you were gone till Aug. It did come with new bolts, but I was just wondering about the fan shroud, and steering? By the way, Brew fest was a blast! 10% brews....why don't they sell those at safeway?

WOW  I found that article VERY interesting...Thanks. I know where I WON'T be buying beer anymore. Is this true for most ALL supermarkets?
Old Scout 07-29-2002, 01:12 PM There are a few that have picked up the Safeway's trick. Ralph's, Fred Kroger and Albertson's.
Costco has a cool way of grating the micros space. You get the Costco store that is closest to your brewery and If you can move a pallet of beer in a week you keep your spot. After 20 weeks of successful sales you can ask for another store. So If you see a Micro in a Costco and you like the beer, Keep buying it!
You guys in the eastbay look for Drakes brewing company's IPA in your Costco. It's a great beer and cheap in Costco!
