: What wrong parts do you have?

I've got several parts that I bought on speculation or waited too long to confirm their fit before loosing the receipt. They are just sitting in my shop MOCKING me.

They are:

ACCELL spark plug wires "universal fit"- Well doesn't fit a Cherokee.

Stock Rubber spring eye bushings- didn't fit, even though the spring suppier said they would, completly different sizes.

Front Axle ujoint- bought because Advance Auto couldn't source a part if their life depended on it. But I'm not bitter! :flipoff2:

Written down it doesn't look like much. Hopefully I don't sound too much like a whiney bitch- just bored.

What do you have kicking around your shop?

I also like how FORD Mechanics told him his body lift caused his driveline angle to increase causing a clunk

Well, I'm glad it's not just me.

I'd forgotten about brake pads- I've got three perfectly good ones... Still not sure were the last one went. They are spares now! I'm sure I'll find it when I move.

The body lift on my XJ caused the same problems :flipoff2:

I wasn't sure if this was chitchat or not- I figured it was part/tool related= Gen 4x4. If not move it... if you can :flipoff2: Otherwise, please drive through.

I have all kinds a parts I can't use, don't fit, was for something else. And lots of build up parts not ready to use, not enough to put together.
But My favorite non useable part is, a complete working (with gaskets) Fuel pump for a 1936 Plymouth. I inherited from my grandfather. He had the Plymouth, he bought it new and sold it in 42. So you could say, its a second generation non useable part, since he bought it because he thought he needed it, but found out it was the fuel filter. Since it was 100 miles back to the store, he never took it back.

Half a Saturn transaxle.
The front inch off a Toyota 5-speed tranny.
Water pump for an MR2.
'58 Mercedes-Benz. The whole thing. :)
Jeep/GM 151 Iron Duke engine. The whole thing. Needs an oil pump.
Small pile of 2WD SM465's.
Clutch disk for a Camaro.
Pressure plate for a Mustang.
Oilpans for an AMC smallblock.
Internals from that same AMC smallblock.
Fan blades (only blades-n-center, no fan) from an electric fan.
Centered rear diff, sprung under, stock width, six lug, metric studded, 31 spline, Ford 9" for an FJ40.
Master cylinders off God-knows-what. About six so far.
Axleshafts from a Dodge D44F.
'86 Toy extended cab. In three pieces. The whole cab, minus the floor.

There's a lot more... that's just the stuff I can think of offhand. Scary thing is, I deliberately bought or traded or swapped off, most of this stuff.

For a Bronco II

They are way too stiff for my `Kick.

Make an offer if you want them. :D

Also got a dump truck load worth of Suzuki SJ-410 parts - what the hell was I thinking? Even paid money for this stuff.

Got a bunch of semi useful stuff listed for sale here:

Crazy Chris' Clearance! (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=69506)

Getting rid of it because they are either the wrong parts for my projects or going in the wrong direction to what I want to do.
