Depends on a few things. Is the gate open at the entrance of 2N17X? How far up do you want to go? It took us a weekend to run 2N17X and connect to other trails up to the back side of Big Bear lake.........

This post had me laughing. When I went on the last run I had to stop several times on an obstacle. Did someone break? Is someone stuck? No someone decided to stop everyone's progress to jawjack and look at their rigs. It was nice to meet new people but I think smaller groups are more enjoyable.

I like meeting like minded people too, just not 40-60 of them at once. I once was invited to join a run to cleghorn i think, a couple of years ago and there were at least 35-50 Rigs, mostly newer Rubicons.(no offense to the jeep guys):flipoff2:..all staring at my scout wondering who invited him??:shaking::shaking:
So I left and did a run to gold mountain with a couple of friends in big bear. I like smaller groups of 4-7 rigs.:D

It ends at highway 138 near the south end of Silverwood lake.

I would say 2ish hours if your group is small and you keep moving...hell, I've done Cleghorn and 2n17x and we still finished them by early afternoon.

We startrd about 10am with about 10-15 trucks and ended about 2-3pm. I never ran pilot rock so Im in to run that trail. I live here in Apple Valley but sundays are basically the only days I can run so whenever your up for it let me know.

Cleghorn ends where you exit to go into Silverwood lakes. I would like to start that trail from that end next time if anyone is in to try that.

Bert, Cleghorn can be pretty challenging if you take the offshoots. It can be a pretty easy trail if you don't. 2N17X not so easy. If you have a capable rig, you could probably still do it with some spotting help.

my rig is capable just dont have alot of experiance. What time is everyone meeting up? I really want to get out this weekend and hit some trails.

This thread is getting hard to sort through to get details about who we are wheelin with. If there is a personality issue with anyone I am sure it will come out on the trail. Now lets meet some new people and have fun enjoying our hobby.

hey guys..bert directed me over to this post about the group going out saturday, myself and one other rig wanna hook up with the group, meet everyone and get in a good day on trails we've never seen so this is perfect... the rigs arent nearly as capable as alot of you guys run but i think we'll be fine... looking fwd to a good day w/everyone... i just wanted some details as to where and when to meet up, we're coming from camp pendleton and have 0 clue where to go off the 15..thanks guys
