Is there any way to stiffen up a set of stock YJ springs? The ones I have are two soft and the weight of a 38" tire + power shapes them from a U into an S. This is not on a jeep, but a sami with toyota axles.

Is there a good source for 2" lifted YJ springs for the rear, I don't need a kit, just the 2 springs and bushings? Are they stiffer than a stock spring. Thanks.

Either add a full length add-a-leaf to the current pack or check out the RE new military wrap YJ springs. I continuosly wore my springs out. I am now 2.5 rancho's they where doing fine until I broke my traction bar that I made in the rear. Immediatly they started to "S" on me. When that happens your are SOL <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

Lance was selling some new YJ Rubicon Express springs. Go look in the For Sale board

Might also look at CJ7 rears. Same size, and higher spring rate

Add a buggy leaf (eyes cut off) under the main buggy and add the long leaf on top of the pack. Helps a little.

get a new set and put in a full length add-a-leaf or a stock main with the eyes cut off. Also you really need a good traction bar like the one from sam's offroad
