Hey yall me and dad are thinking about starting a new project, some sort of mud bogger, right now we're either thinking a 73-79 ford, or a 80s ranger, do a SAS with a stronger rear end (if we go the ranger route), we're also strongly considering running a 4 link rear w/ coils, and not sure up front yet (any suggestions?). But anyways I was just wondering if anyone had any good articles/tech writeups on 4 link suspensions. I know the tab mounts need to be plumb straight up and down from each other, the top will be about 20% longer i think and goes to the inner of the axle on top, bottom will be shorter and go straight to the bottom of the axles, creating a triangle...Any other basics yall can help me with or any good tech articles? Thanks.
