id get a painless kit if ya have the money there pretty basic and work amazingly for that setup. I did a vortech 5.7 to a 47 willys and thats what i used. And i used a shortend chevy tilt colum

Go to jimsperformance.com, he did my vortec 5.7 harness and it is super simple. On mine, I just told him to keep the front 02s and we ditched the rear o2s, EGR, and a bunch of emissions crap. Plus, he was about half the price of anyone else because he is a smaller operation and he uses your existing harness. He is also very helpful when you call and ask question like I had to. Once you factor in your time, its worth it to send it to this guy because its not only cake to hook up when you're done, there is some computer work that needs to be done when you start removing stuff, otherwise the thing will never run right. What tranny are you running? This is also important to consider because if you're running the 4l80e, that needs to be programmed for you setup, and if you're ditching that and getting a manual or an older auto, the computer needs to be altered as well. Just trying to save you the headache.

Owe you big time for posting that one.:D I just talked to the guy and I will save about $550 dollars over what I thought and he was really helpful over the phone and did not make you feel like a idiot like some of the others I have dealt with.
