We checked out this linkhttp://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...+motor+in+jeep and it doesnt show any wiring diagrams for the conversion.Such as what you do with the brain box,eliminate it or is it used, what wires do we use for the distributor,there is a purple,orange and black wire on a amc wiring diagram and only 2 wires need to be going to the chevy distributor.What wires go where,going to the starter,alternator?

What year SBC? Carb or fuel injected? If it's carbed, should only be wires to the alternator, starter, coil, tach (if you have one), and electric choke (again if you have one). Need a little more info though.....
