Hi,
I'm getting ready to swap an early 80's 351W H.O. (w/ 4 barrel carb.) into my CJ-5. When I bought the engine the vacuum lines were either missing or had been cut/spliced. I have the Chilton's manual but the vacuum diagram is unclear. I was hoping that someone would either have a good diagram that they would send me, or could tell me which lines I need and where they go, and which lines I can do without. I don't have to worry about emissions in my area. I also don't have power steering or power brakes, but the engine came from a vehicle that did. Any help will be greatly appreciated, because this is all that's holding up my engine swap.

If you don't have any smog on the motor you only one or two lines. The first pcv line which is connect to full port vaccum. That would be a large line with strong vaccum at an idle. The second would be timed port vaccum for the dist. The way to find this is find a port with no vaccum at an idle . Bring the motor up to 1500 or so you should feal or read vaccum.
