I dont use the a/c on my Jeep, would it be worth it to "reduct" it through separate trans and power steering coolers? Or fab a box for the coolers with the a/c coil and separate fan? Just throwing the idea out there...... looking for input.

if the AC still works i'd think twice about ditching it and install a separate tranny cooler, although i don't see why you need a tranny cooler anyways, not doing any heavy towing with a jeep are you?

I'm gonna go out on a ledge here and bet you are gonna be surprised. I don't wheel desert, but even out here in CT, most people with autos run tranny coolers. I could be wrong, i have been before.

if you look at the inlets for the radiator cooler they have a tiny, maybe 1/8" hole so ANYother cooler would be an improvement.

As for stock im not 100% positive, i know i have seen secondary tranny coolers, on a few of my friends jeeps. Hes an older fellow, so all he has are autos pretty much. Hes one for buying unmolested vehicles. If i had to bet id probably say yes.

I used the AC condensor for the tranny cooler on my J-10 and bypassed the rad all together, same thing on my Blazer and it worked very good. I had a tranny line in the rad rupture and the fluids mixed ruining the tranny and making a mess of the cooling system for a long time. Not something I ever want to happen again.
My YJ, runs 2 large aftermarket coolers (one plumbed into the other side by side) mounted on some 8th inch thick strap that's bolted to the grill. It keeps the ties from rubbing through the thinner rad. fins and tubs. The AC condensor and aftermarket coolers have thicker tubes the the rad. I've ruined a rad due to all the vibration of the coolers rubbing on the thinner rad tubes. Again, I bypass the rad all together, keeps the fluid cooler and prevents costly repairs. You'd be fine W/ using the AC condensor, and you could bypass the rad all together and run cooler. My 2cents for what it's worth to ya. I'd unplug the AC pump if you plan on keeping it incase you sell the Jeep someday or ditch it and get the non AC belt.

they are a 3/8" or 5/16" tube size but when you look down the fitting it necks down a lot.

I just checked an OEM TJ radiator and it necks down to just over 1/4" (used a drill bit to check it). My aftermarket radiator port is bigger...
