I liked the DPMS kit I put together this past weekend, but that doesnt mean much it was the first time I've hand my hands on one.

Double Star, CMMG, DPMS, Stag, RRA all seem identical.
Only dif I have ever noticed is DS uses roll pins, the others use split.

my first rifle i used a dpms. no problems what so ever.
on the last one i used a stag LPK. not so good. i needed a new bolt catch and bolt catch spring. the fit was not as good as the dpms kit.
maybe it was a fluke, who knows. id go w/ the DPMS kit.

I have used DPMS, RRA, Colt and maybe bushmaster in the past. I will check out Double Star next I guess.

I've got DPMS on both my lowers. I've had zero issue at this point so I'm probably going to stick with'm

Most of them are the same with minor differences. I have a RRA/Stag in mine that works perfectly. CMMG, RRA, Bushmaster, and Colt all have good reputations.

DPMS works great for me and it's hard to beat the price.

I've installed a bunch of them and prefer the Doublstar ones just because I like the spiral pins better than the split pins. They also have pretty nice triggers. The worst ones I've used were Oly. I like their recievers ok but their LPKs suck.
