Can anyone convert that to a .jpg or something printable? It's a .xps and for whatever reason my new Vista machine wont do it.

TIA, John

I get their printed flyers in the mail. They used to print a coupon on about every other one (they come every two weeks). I haven't had a coupon on one for about four months.

I'd bet they stopped them in areas where their stores are doing well.

I got one about two flyers ago, but thanks for this. Seems like they never have one when I need it. I just spent $240 there today and then found this.

Part of me doesn't want to buy anything at HF.

But part of me sees the Bandsaw on sale for $165 in the flyer I got this week, and with a 15% coupon, that makes it $140. Wow... Tempting.

Yeah - I am waiting for the bandsaw to be on sale also - with a 15% working at the same time - then I am pulling the trigger! :D - same with the 20 ton press!

I will post a pic from my flyer later this evening. I got it last week, has the bandsaw for $165.

After much contemplation, I still can't do it though. I just can't drag home another big Chinese box full of disappointment, no matter how tempting the price is.

Just got home and had a flyer waiting for me "sale ends August 11th"- the bandsaw is 161.99
and the 20 ton press is 199.99

The 20 ton press for 170 after the discount

Tempting

Told ya! I'm too lazy to scan it now. In my flyer it's $164.99 though.

Good luck! I have the 20 ton press, and I'll admit it works exactly as intended. I use it for control arm bushings, rebuilding transmissions, gear swap, even pressing on/off axle bearings.

Anyone actually use the above coupon yet? I called them to see if they could check the number to see if was any good and they said they would need to scan it.....

Uggh. I feel dirty. But I bought the bandsaw. Couldn't resist. I figure I can sell it for close to what I have in it ($151 out the door), and use it while I wait for "the deal" on an American one.

Yes the coupon works. She had to manually type it in.

<- going to hide for a while...

The last time I tried to use a printed coupon, I was told that in the near future, the only coupons accepted would be in the fliers sent to our homes.

FWIW.

I figure I've probably taken advantage of them enough using internet-provided coupons that we're even now!

So I did it :shaking: I went and used the coupon - it worked. Got the 20 Ton Press for $170 and the band saw for $137 :D

For me, the home hobbyist, this stuff works fine.....

My latest flyer had a 12% coupon LOL. Also noticed on some of the items that regularly go on sale prices have gone up $10 or so.

I used it on their largest tile saw and it scanned. I've been using it to cut pavers with a HF blade. So far its a nice saw, and doesn't feel cheap like a lot of their shit.

I sent my wife in to get something for me and they said the coupon was fake. They still honored it though!

If it's the red one, there is only one issue really, and that's if you live in a sub 30-40° climate. That's the tar they call lubrication in the gear box - any easy fix.

Once and a while they need a little tweaking to get set just right, or the blad shipped on it backwards. Nothing major, just minor one banana stuff.

Well the 12cfm compressor is on sale for $99 and the "6 hp" compressor motor is $189. The coupon expires on the 24th. Looks like I'm making a trip to HF in the next two days.
