I got a buddy with a 90 Wrangelr and a 4.2 and just got a 4.2 stroked to 4.7? crate motor and while he was at it he order Borla exhaust headers. and the Fawkin headers won't work with a front driveshaft...... he's got 4" suspension.... What the world.... I mean the only thing that motor came in besides 2wd XJ if they came in that (i'm not a jeep person). So they should all clear the front shaft..... so is this normal or did he get screwed

OK, so it was a 4.2 stroked to 4.7 and what? ... no 4.0 head ... probably so if he was on the ball.
That's quite a mix! An to expect a perfect fit?:rolleyes:
Borla sells both straight and curved sections in various diameters from their web page, plus it is easy to bend and MIG weld. Problem solved.
