well after just replacing my front driveshaft i was driving home from the airport tonight and a retread off an eighteen wheeler flew off and wrapped around my driveshaft causing it to bind and blew my newly rebuilt driveshaft. That's not all though, this time around my driveshaft decided that it was time to take a swing at my transmission and blew a thre inch by three inch hole in it.

So does anyone have a R380 sitting around or possibly an HFor an LT-77? Don't need it in a hurry just need it in the next couple of months. I was planning On re-doing the suspension starting monday guess it's a definate thing now that the truck is disabled.

Also what other feesible options are there for a tranny swap? I am trying to claim with my insurance (cross fingers) so I might be able to go with something outside of the rover kingdom. Suggestions welcome.

Also for the british guys what's the deal on the upgraded ashcroft r380s? I have heard about them but don't really know much. Anyone used them seen someone use them ect? Well guess it's time to talk to the adjuster and figure out if they are going to cover this. Oh yeah the driveshaft also managed to plow into my passenger side fottwelll and lifted it up 8 inches and managed to break about 6 inches off my tranny tunnel spraying fiberglass everywhere. That sure was nice.

I guess you'd better look into some driveshaft loops for your next upgrade. :D

yeah either that or get my driveshafts from Jess at high angle and call it a day. I've been keeping in pretty good contact with him and from what I understand these are going to be the most rediculous driveshafts on a rover. I could drop mt truck from like 20 feet on these things and they wouldn't break. And knowing me I'll probably end up doing that some day.
