Trying to find a source of good drawings and the working of the a/c system on a 1995 s10, 4cyl, 2.2L, 2wd, 5spd. Mine died several years ago and I was told it was the compressor. I'd like to tear in there and do some research and see if this is what is wrong and go from there. None of the basic repair manuals you get at like Vatozone even cover this area. Thanks.

FSM? Personally I'd just take it to an A/C place to get it diagnosed. You guys have cheap A/C parts and servicing compared to up North here. At least that was the case when I was in Vegas... Literally a fraction of the price. Gotta love that you can buy R12 in a can at the parts stores too.
