The car is a Mitt's-a-bitchy "Lancer"
there are 7 of um in the US, this Yellow one and a twin black one set up for Rally, a couple more set up for drag's,and a couple set up for cruz'n... They'r called "crusher" cars, because after this year, ALL 7 are get'n crush'd because they are "proto-types" <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

"We" Fatkid and I, were called by Ray Hocker to Fab up SCCA spec cages for the 2 Ralley cars...(done a bunch of um)

All 7 are going to be at the Las Vegas SEMA show at the end of this month at the Mit's booth...

I'd be lie'n if I told you my head didn't swell a couple hat sizes when the call to make um came in <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

They're here. I don't know if they're going to import the Evo VIII though. That's the twin turbo, all wheel drive rocket ride.

Rally cars are bad ass, this isn't the lowered cheasy winged asian race car you see on the street. This is 400 hp all wheel drive 100mph sideways on gravel kind of stuff. Sure that car is on the SEMA show circuit now, but after that it is gonna get it more than most of us ever will.

A couple of years back I was at an SCCA Pro Rally event, up north, and the Group N cars (not full tilt racecars) where getting up to a radared 132 mph, on a nice bumpy gravel road, these are Subarus, Mitsu's, etc. FULLY GETIN' IT (in a different way ofcourse). Last night Speedvision showed the latest installment of the WRC in Italy. The top guys where averaging 70+ mph (120kmh) on wet windy single lane paved mountain roads, with an average of 13 meters of visabilty in the fog. There was no question about the amount GETTIN' IT going on. Nothing compares to a 470+ hp 4 cyl. all wheel drive 4 dr. sedan.
