I have an 07 Chevy , sold axle on coil up front..problem is I have yet to finish the rear.

Looking for options to get the rear up, currently its sill on 4 inch blocks and a shackle flip. I have not moved the hanger either so the axle is not centered.

options I am looking at would be deaver lift springs, but what about when I tow my buggy? Seems sag would be an issue.

-Or the deavers and some tripple rate bags?

-Drop spring hanger and factory springs or 2 inch springs, things keeps my tow rating but does not help the ride.

-Inboarding the stock springs under the frame, any concerns on stability?? I would try to use the stock springs on this one.

-currently I do have a front drop hanger a friend gave me so I could try that and the shackle flip, but again, no change in ride quality

Just looking for some input

I would go with an Alcan or deaver. THey can give you the lift needed and make them to your specs (how much weight you tow) etc. Not the cheapest way but thats what I would do.

Bought some springs from Alcan. They're great and will get you what ever you want for a good price. Took them a month to get 4 custom springs to my door.

Just looking for some inputGet the lift springs. Then add Air bags to level it while towing!

Inboarding springs will cost you a lot of stability. If you inboard the springs you will need to add a substantial sway bar.

I wouldn't inboard the springs.

I guess an issue is also the height of the truck.. "flame suit on"

I run a 41 inch radial, I am happy with the height in the rear if I can get it to ride/flex and stuff enough to go though some trails and stay out of the fenders. The front I plan to take down a good 2-3 inches. I did move the front axle center line forward 3.25 inches when I put it in so that helps the front. If using the car trailer its tows around 6k, if using the back hoe trailer it is close to 10-11k and pulls the rear down bad. I plan to stick to the light trailer and load for the future.

in the second pic with the black springs the truck is about 2 2.5 inches taller than it is now, and as mentiond I would like to lower it a little more.

Getting the height from the deavers to level the truck out to the fronts new lower height is my concern. They sell 6 and 8 inch springs for it, as mentioned the air bags would solve the sag issue when towing and firm it up nicely.

i am planing on doing it for my rear steer setup. it will be softer and flex more so i would expect a noticeble road body roll.
