Thanks, I guess I should have specified a year. I'm working with late & early 70's stuff. I'm using flat top knuckles, small bearing chevy spindles, Ford F150 hubs and rotors to get the 5 on 5.5 bp. I'm assuming I'll have to use the chevy 1/2 t backing plates. I have 3/4t calipers in stock. I was hoping they would work. It is sounding like they will.

for stuff like this i usually go to autozone.com and type in the make and model of both trucks and see if the part numbers come up the same, sometimes they will have pictures to compare too

there is a couple of minor differences but not from 1/2t-3/4t.

d44 calipers have a slightly smaller piston and a sae banjo bolt

10b use a larger piston and metric banjo.

there is no real noticeble gain to the 10b calipers though.

You have to watch the locations of the banjo bolt though.....I couldn't use the same calipers on my 10 bolt brackets as the 44, because they where physically identical, but the bolt on the 44 caliper hits the 10 bolt bracket.

never noticed.

dont try to use 2wd stuff though, the casting around the bajo is different and wont work.
