We are staying the week here in Farmington for the ARCA comp. So today we went wheelin with Chris Durham, Shannon Campbell, Mike Palmer, Neil Lilliard, and Tracy Jordan. There is an obstacle here called the "Triple Whammy" that has never been made. So Chris Durham gave it a try, and after about 15 minutes of getting it, he made it. Naturally this got me fired up, so I gave it a try. I decided to try and crawl it, and got about halfway up and my tires started spinnin'. I see-sawed the wheel back and forth trying to get some traction, and crab walked way over to the left. She started to grab, so I stayed left, but then the tire slipped off the ledge and sent me into a barrel roll toward a cliff. Did a full turn and smacked my head hard on the ground as I rolled. I was seein' stars for sure, but I'll survive. The Cruiser took a little bit of damage, I will have to post some pics when this headache goes away.

Did you ever lose conciousness Lance? If not you're fine. If so.... If you start vomitting get yourself to an Emergency Room ASAP.

I think with my last concusion I did not lose conciousness.
I strongly remember my horse pulling the post out of the ground and puling me off the ground as the 10 inch post smacked me upside the head. I held onto the hors as he stood on his hind legs dangling me and the post off the ground. Some how I managed to disconnect the horse from the rack and walked him away and calmed him down.

Yep sure enough mild concusion.

Todd - you can't have a concussion if you didn't lose conciousness - even for a very short time. A concussion will always have a loss of memory, short term or otherwise. Bad headache, yes.

Damn I must be that man then Cause sure as I'm sitting here at work not doing a damn thing,
I got smacked in the head, dangled from a horse and I managed to get the horse untied and to safety. and now I find out I was unconcious for a moment. and yes that was a confirmed concusion number 5 for me.

I must have lost conciousness at some point in time.

Lance the last time I had a concussion I was using a AIR CHAIR. Water ski toy.

They are designed to only go about 13 miles per hour. I was doing 25.. Bad Idea.
WHAM! Out goes the lights..

SERIOUSLY... Dont sleep longer than an hour.

At least for one day.

You are wrong. Plain and simple. We had the head professor of neurological studies from ASU come to a football practice and explain how it all works. Disagree if you will but a PHD or 2 will outweigh anything you say... Pupils dialating is first sign your brain starts to swell and it pinches the optic nerves. Any goofy feelings should seek medical attention. Not saying lance is goign to die or anyhting but just clearing this up.

Yeah yeah... I've already read it. To clarify my own hasty typing last night: Watch out for a concussion that knocks you unconcious.

Here's another one for you to look up: Increased ICP.
