Well i broke my short side inner shaft on my front 44 and the stubs ears are twisted and the ujoint completely split in half while i was at tellico, i got the shafts out, which were a pain (ears twisted), but i was wondering if there is an easier way at getting the the little stub with splines on it that is in the carrier, i was just going to take the carrier out (already have the bearing caps off) and take out the lond side shafts, but i was just wondering if there is an easier way to it, instead of pulling the other side shafts out and the carrier

loooooong piace of welding rod and arc it to the stub and pull it out :D or you could try rolling your rig on its side and giving it a jiggle :flipoff2:

Welding rod always works best for me. i have used the dump the vehicle over method on my zuk twice, and it has worked.

Use one of those heavy duty, telescopic type magnets that looks like a car antenna.
Works great.
