i am looking at doing either just the solid axle swap or a 4-link all around. was wondering if anyone has done this or has seen someone do it. looking for what it takes and possibly some pics to get the idea of it. also is it easier to do this on a 2wd frame or the 4wd frame. the ifs suspension is in the way on my cummins conversion and doesnt give me much clearance so i want to go to solid axle. thanks for any help recieved i appreciate it.

Look at jason payne's rig. It's a 98 K3500 (same suspension, unless you have the LD 2500). He had a 4 linked 60 front and 14 bolt rear, with tons of mods. He was in the process of putting in uni-mog axles when he passed.

I believe his name was willyswanter here, as it was in most of the forums I've visited. Visit GMFullsize.com, there's lots of members there with highly modified rigs and lots of info.
