well i managed to go wheeling/camping this weekend and BROKE a few things. also learned a few more.
Rovertym sliders like to bend the sill up into the door
the rear lip on rovertym rear bumpers tends to bend back
the rovertym front skid plate protects NOTHING whatsoever. it looks nice and costs money. that is all.
when you hit the pitman arm on the steering box on a big rock relatively hard, it likes to mangle the seal at the sector shaft.
it is very hard to drive a range rover with manual steering off road.
power steering pumps do not like being run with air in the system.
shitheaded rover engineers designed the PS pump to run off the alternator, so removing the belt was not an option.
mud terrains, when slightly dryrotted, have a tendency to rip sidewalls. a lot.
super swamper SSRs are worse in many situatons than a properly aired down mud terrain. even in mud.
i need bigger tires and more lift.
