I am putting a 4.3 in my buggy, and am using a PSC high flow pump. I am told I can get away with not getting their external res. setup, but have heard that there are ways of extending the fill neck to get some more fluid in there. Any of you guys have info on this?
Also, how in the hell do you get hte front most headers bolt out with the PS alum. bracket attached to it? Do you have to take hte whole bracket off just to take off the manifold? Whats the trick?

I would run the res. just to help with cooling the system. Here in AZ even with coolers if your working the steering they get extremely hot . Still running the fac. exhaust so not sure about the 2nd question .

The fill neck on my blazer looks to be about 6-8" long. Not sure if its stock for the PSC pump or not. I didn't put it in, but it looks a little longer than what I would expect it to be.

pull the steering pump pulley and remove the bracket.
