Yeah it was fun.
I didnt get there until Saturday, so only wheeled for 1 day. Frosty's new rig was down for the count, when his engine let go on the drive out there, so I didnt get to see that thing in action. But It was a good time.
Here is a line on Sledge that Frosty, brought me up, I had not tried(or even noticed this line before).

And here are the parts I broke in about the 1st 15 minutes. 1 st went the driver side then the passenger side about 5 minutes later, also shattered a Warn locking hub. No ther breakage after that.

On Friday at the ARCA course, a tie rod and a birfield on one of the guys from SLO Crawlers. Sunday at the ARCA course, Nica popped a birf. towed 1182 miles each way, found out the A/C in my 3 week old tow rig doesn't work on the way down <IMG SRC="smilies/pissed.gif" border="0"> ran part of the ARCA course, sledge 1 1/2 times, and wrecking ball, no breakage <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> but we never could get my power steering to come to life!!! <IMG SRC="smilies/pissed.gif" border="0">

Our group from AZ had a good time out there.

I lost a tooth on my 14 year old ring gear in my front axle (pic later in the Toy section). I think it died from fatigue as I was running an easier section of Sledge Hammer with the front open when I heard it pop. Getting off the trail took a little work. But a few strap and winch pulls from the other guys got me out. Thanks crew.

I rode shotgun on Staurday while the rest of the guys drove Jack Hammer. Fun trail. Cost was two Birfs and one of our guys flopped his 4Runner on its lid coming down the backside of the mountain. Some truck damage but no one was hurt.

Hey Desertoy….thanks again for running Sledge with us.
