I am building up a 98 Chevy 1500 to run 44's. Anyway, I have the 14 bolt rear end, and I'm still hunting down a reasonably priced Dana 60 for the front end, but I have little knowledge about the rest of the drivetrain.

Any info about the driveshafts would be helpful. I think high angle makes some custom ones.

Also, I've heard I need a 241 transfer case. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated, especially where I can get one cheap.

Thanks

What tranny do you have now? As for the shafts I would have them custom made, I have no idea what high angle would charge but I bet it is too much. I got a custom 3 1/2" shaft made for my blazer with the 1350 u-joints for under $200. I dont know nothing bout T-Cases except that 205s are good.

email Rusty0613@aol.com and ask him. He will give you a list of everything you will need for the swap with prices and all. He is a friend of mine and he has the 14ff/d60 setup. Tell him Aquaman told you to ask him, and he will understand.
