Clean-dezert is putting on another huge clean-up this year in the barstow area. Its going to be the weekend of Oct 18th. Saturday morning we will have sign-ups for the clean-up and start the clean-up at 9am. Free BBQ for everyone who comes out and volunteers, as well as a free raffle for everyone volunteering. Saturday evening we will have a local band plan while everyone unwinds from the day.

Sunday morning we will be giving demo rides in race vehicles for volunteers as well.

bump. I know the local calico clean-ups pulled close to 800-1000 people. WE want to see these numbers as well. If anyone is interested in donating product to the raffle please let me know. We also have Offroad magazine coming to cover the event, as well as 2-3 different websites.

The Calico folks (Mark et.al.) had a ton of volunteers, you're right, and they used the volunteer management system (RICS) taught in my leadership course. You are welcome to use it if you'd like. I can ship you the forms and such. It works miracles. It's what we have used on the Rubicon work weekends for 8 years now.
