Ok, i want to get one of those aftermarket kick down cables for the 727. I Have seen one, and then also the lokar. I just feel like my $99 is going all for the looks on the lokar, which i dont care at all about. Are there any other good ones out there that arent as much, or shoudl i just buy the lokar kick down? thanks.

I installed a Lokar kickdown cable on our '83 and it works great!! It does cost a little more but it is made of a high quality, braided stainless steel cable. It's fairly easy to install, just follow the directions carefully.
If you are using an Edelbrock carb you will need the Edelbrock Chrysler Throttle Adapter(pn 1481), if you don't have it already of course.
