If it is perminantly attached, yes. Must have switch, bolts holding it down, etc

Funny, desert racing organizations require NO switches on the amber light. ;)

whats the deal with this guy? Same response in the other thread.

I was wondering the same thing. I can understand some other big names with big sponsors getting into the race on their good graces.

I think the promoters are betting that Larry will bring more attention to the race and people will tune in to see if he finishes. Hopefully that attention is positive. Do a search for Lippy Larry Longshot to learn more.

Slower vehicles in SCORE run the blue light. i.e. UTV's and quads....so Trophy Trucks can see the blue light ahead and know they'll be running over a "traction aid" soon. :blacklaughing:

there is no fun or satiafaction in it.

I didn't mean any under handed thing by it, I made plenty of my own mistakes. I'm glad you were the co-driver for '08 and wouldn't have had it any other way as I learned a lot!

To me, the most important part of co-driver position is navigation.

Agreed. Seems to me the codriver needs to navigate, communicate and do everything else so the driver only concentrates on driving. As a codriver, I would be out prerunning from trial to trail in my prerunner until I knew the route from every trail to every other trail.

This is an excellent idea; Wayne preran a lot of the '08 desert on a dirtbike. Had I not utterly failed to tune the car well enough to make good use of his prerunning experience, it would've been really beneficial, but I dropped the ball, and we couldn't really run more than about 65 as a result. :(
