Wondering if anyone is running Daystar Greasable shackles in the rear of their CJ-7.
I recieved the set I ordered today. However, the rears were not what I anticipated them to be. The fronts are made of two steel plates with piece of tubing welded in the middle. I was expecting the rear ones to be the exact same, but wider to accomodate the wider springs in the rear. Instead, the rears were made of two pieces of steel with a rectangle shaped solid piece of steel holding them together in the center.
Just wondering if this is normal or if it's possible that I received the wrong ones for the rear? BTW, if anyone has pics, that'd be cool too.

Thanks

They are YJ shackles I am using on my CJ. They are a little bit longer IIRC...

Yes, that's exactly what they look like. I'm guessing they just commonized the shackles between the CJ and the YJ seeing as how CJ rears are the same as YJ's.

Thanks for your help.
