Do the late model ford dana 60's use crush sleeves / collars ?

just put a 89 dana 60 into a early bronco and it did and it took a big ratchet and a 10 foot piece of tube to crush it

you can buy a soild spacer. the 5.38's i bought for my 60 had the spacer on it. its take longer to set them up but i rather go with spacer.

If you get D/S gears it will come with a small spacer.This si so you can use the the original pre load shims but thats onlyif you get the complete set with bearings,shims,seals ect. Now if you get Yukons,G/G the pinion is machined for the shims.
