Because ML season opens before rifle season,If you hunted ML season it would be kinda cool,It would be worth it just to see the expression on everybody face(especially the game warden :D )

I bet they would still bitch that it didn't have a fixed mag. :shaking:
I like the idea though. Nice to see some thinking outside the box. Besides, you could just just use the same lower that you already own from your current AR. I've never shot BP, though a nice match trigger in the lower might be a lot better than what most BP rifles have.

:laughing:I think your right! The lower is STILL an AR lower.
So to be legal it would need to be a fixed mag or one of those funky stock/pistol grips:laughing::laughing:
TNToy 08-02-2008, 04:28 PM Idiots. All of you.
They did this so your LaRue shit could still tag along for the ride on opening day of Muzzleloader. Isn't that obvious?

Sometimes you need to shoot something and it's really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really dark out.
That black powder AR is amazingly dumb, on a scale of 1-10 it's about a 43, that's 43 points worth of stupid, running a Dana 30 with 40's is only a 3.
ZjSteveO 08-03-2008, 08:36 AM adds a whole new meaning to "smoke pole"

Napoleon047 08-03-2008, 07:16 PM I have seen it in person and handled it at CMMG's gunshow booth and yes, its solely for the AR kool aid drinkers.
True BP enthusiasts fall into two broad categories, traditionalists and modernists. The traditionalists stick to the flintlocks and such whereas the modernists go with break opens and falling blocks these days.
