And there is a certain sheriff in a certain county in Idaho who carries a tape measure with him and will cite you. He tried nailing a friend of mine in an 83 Hi Lux for not having a bumper. But in 1983 bumpers were not required for light trucks. He like to enforce all these laws. If I was braver I'd cite him for his studded tires on his patrol car for sticking out too far beyond the wheelwell without mud flaps during the winter. He gave our windshield a rock chip coming off an exit ramp on the interstate. Other than him, Idaho is a pretty cop friendly state. | |
