you know... like CSR, Proform water pumps... there is no provision for my heater hose.

did you guys just 'T' into your neck hose? orrrr? i'd like to find a better looking way to do this.

lets see...

top of the intake manifold has a provision for water.... or 2
side of the head has a provision for water...

ever think of using one of those locations?

i've never built an engine, or swapped heads. so i'm not familiar with everywhere a sbc can facilitate a new water port. i have been told of a water connection that can be made to the back of the pass side cylinder head. i guess that a lot of different locations bear looking into, but i'm pretty clueless.

i'm not sure if because the original heater hose connection was on the stock water pump, if the pump was pressurizing the heater core from here. if i connect my heater hose to somewhere new, will i have to put an inline water pump? is there anywhere that's unsafe to connect to??? ie... if i connect to a cylinder head, or 'T' from the water neck, will i cause problems with my cooling system?

thanks grump

no problems...

generally, GM radiators have a fitting on the upper passenger side to facilitate return from the heater core.

only 73 up.

the early went from the pump and intake.

most aftermarkets radiator dont have a port either.

you can also use the temp sender plug/port on the side of the head as well. i wouldnt hook them both up to the front of the intake or t into each other.

i have a few spare tstat housings that have fittings in them if you need one.
