ok was looking at the kits way to much money when i already have the t3/t4 turbo laying around. what would i need for the compurter or ecm to get it to run right with the the turbo?

Does someone make the exhaust manifold you'd need. On top of computer stuff you'll need to upgrade the fuel system. I couldn't tell you what you'd need there.

Not that I have experience with the 4.0 but the way the ricers do it is with a in line computer made by apexi (sp) it's called the safc (super air fuel controller). It's the cheapest way I know of to tweak fuel on an efi motor. Now I don't know if your factory injector's will be maxxed out or not though. What do the kit's come with?

read my thread in my sig. I built mine for a 93 YJ. Your an OBD2 system, So I think your ECM will take boost no problem. There is ALOT you must do to get your motor running with boost.

Mine still starts right up, crawls in the rocks with zero issues, When the boost comes in, The acceleration and power are beyond my expectations. I am currently running 8 pounds on the motor and thats it.

You would need to mod the fuel pump and system to supply the needed PSI to support the extra fuel needed so you don't kill your motor. I highly suggest at least 30 pound injectors at the minumum. The kits will come with 24's -26's and I say thats not enough.
